Equipment

  • Blender
  • Glass

Ingredients

Frozen sliced strawberries

  • 2 cups frozen sliced strawberries

Frozen mango pieces

  • 1 1/2 cups frozen mango pieces

Chopped carrots or baby carrots

  • 1/2 cup chopped carrots or baby carrots

Unsweetened almond milk or milk of choice

  • 1 1/2 cups unsweetened almond milk or milk of choice

Freshly squeezed lemon juice or orange juice

  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice reduce the almond milk to 1 1/4 cups if using orange juice

Instructions

Prepare ingredients and blend

  • Add frozen strawberries, mango, chopped carrots, almond milk, and lemon or orange juice to the blender.
  • Blend starting on low speed, increasing to high, until smooth, about 60-90 seconds. Add more almond milk as needed for consistency.

Taste and adjust, serve

  • Taste the smoothie and adjust lemon juice or milk as needed. Add ice and blend again if desired thicker and colder.
  • Pour into glass and serve immediately for best flavor and texture.

Notes

Use frozen fruit for a thick, frosty texture. Smaller carrot pieces blend better. Add milk gradually if smoothie is too thick. You can swap almond milk with oat, coconut, or dairy milk. Lemon juice gives a tangy kick; orange juice adds sweetness. Store leftovers up to 24 hours and stir or re-blend before drinking.
