Instructions

  • Melt green candy melts in a microwave or double boiler until smooth according to package directions.
  • Insert lollipop sticks into marshmallows, then dip them in melted green candy to cover completely. Stand upright in a glass with uncooked rice or oatmeal and chill for 5 minutes until hardened.
  • Melt chocolate chips, then dip marshmallow tops to form Frankenstein's hair, dragging chocolate down with a toothpick for spikes. Chill again for 5 minutes until hardened.
  • Break pretzel rods into small (about 1/8-inch) pieces for neck "bolts" and carefully insert one into each side of the marshmallow, approximately one-third from the bottom.
  • Using a toothpick and remaining melted chocolate, dab two small dots onto each marshmallow and press on the candy eyeballs.
  • Draw a mouth with a black edible marker and a laceration on the forehead with a red edible marker. Enjoy immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge.
