  • 2 cans crescent rolls 8-Ounce Cans
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon maple extract
  • 2 tablespoons pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup pecans chopped
  • 16 ounces brie
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup crushed pineapple well drained

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and separate crescent roll triangles.
  • Arrange crescent triangles in a shingle pattern to form a sunburst circle on the prepared baking sheet, leaving the center open.
  • Melt butter in a saucepan, then whisk in brown sugar and cook for 5 minutes until lightly browned. Remove from heat and stir in maple extract and pineapple juice.
  • In a separate bowl, combine sliced brie, dried cranberries, crushed pineapple, and chopped pecans with 2 tablespoons of the melted butter mixture.
  • Spoon the brie mixture onto the wide end of each crescent triangle, about a half-inch from the center. Fold the pointed end of each crescent over the filling and tuck it under the center.
  • Brush the tops of the crescent rolls with the remaining butter mixture.
  • Bake for 35 minutes in the preheated oven until golden brown.

This appetizer is best served warm, making it a perfect addition to your holiday spread.
