Equipment

  • Paper towels
  • Small Bowl
  • Air fryer
  • fork

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb. salmon
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 3/4 teaspoon coarse kosher salt or 1/2 teaspoon table salt
  • 2-3 teaspoons avocado or olive oil

Instructions

Preparation

  • Remove the skin from the salmon if present and pat dry with paper towels. Cut the salmon into 1 to 2-inch cubes.
  • Combine all the dry spices in a small bowl.
  • Toss the salmon cubes with the spice mixture and oil, ensuring they are well coated.

Cooking

  • Place the seasoned salmon pieces in the air fryer, spreading them out to form a single layer. Air fry at 400 degrees for 8 minutes.
  • The salmon should be golden and crispy on the outside, and flaky and juicy inside. For a medium doneness, cook for 6-7 minutes.

Notes

Ensure salmon skin is removed if present before cooking. For a medium doneness, air fry for 6-7 minutes instead of 8.
