  • 3 to 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can Unsalted Cream of Chicken Soup 10.5-oz
  • 2 envelopes chicken gravy mix 0.87-oz each
  • 0.5 cup water or chicken broth optional
  • hot steamed rice

Preparation

  • Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker and season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, gravy mix, and optional water or chicken broth, then pour the mixture evenly over the chicken.
  • Cover the slow cooker and cook on the LOW setting for 4 to 6 hours.
  • Before serving, use two forks to break the cooked chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and serve them hot over steamed rice.

Notes

For a richer flavor, consider using chicken broth instead of water. Ensure chicken is cooked through before serving.
