Instructions

  • Preheat a 5-quart air fryer to 380°F for 5 minutes.
  • Cut 1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts into 1-inch bite-sized pieces and place them into a medium-sized bowl; add 1 Tablespoon olive oil and stir to coat.
  • Add the cajun seasoning, granulated sugar, kosher salt, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, poultry seasoning, dried thyme, and dried parsley flakes; stir to coat the chicken evenly in the spices.
  • Spray the air fryer basket with olive oil nonstick spray, then add the chicken pieces in a single layer, cooking in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.
  • Cook for 7-11 minutes, shaking the basket or flipping with tongs every few minutes, until the internal temperature reaches at least 165°F; serve immediately.

Notes

Ensure the chicken bites reach an internal temperature of at least 165°F for food safety. Cooking in batches prevents overcrowding and ensures crispy results.
