Ice cubes

  • 4-7 pieces Ice cubes

Fat-free plain yogurt

  • 1 cup fat-free plain yogurt about 8 ounces

Mango slices in extra light syrup, drained

  • 3/4 cup mango slices in extra light syrup drained

Sugar substitute (optional)

Instructions
 

Prepare blender

  • Add softer ingredients first and harder ones on top to the blender for smooth blending.

Add ice cubes

  • Place 4-7 ice cubes at the bottom of the blender.

Add yogurt and mango

  • Pour fat-free plain yogurt and drained mango slices into the blender.

Add sugar substitute

  • Add 1 teaspoon sugar substitute if using for extra sweetness.

Blend smoothie

  • Blend on high for 45-60 seconds until smooth with no ice chunks.

Taste and adjust sweetness

  • Taste and add more sugar substitute if needed, then blend for another 10-15 seconds.

Serve and garnish

  • Pour into glass and garnish with fresh mango slices if desired, serve immediately.

Notes

For a thicker smoothie, start with fewer ice cubes. Use frozen mango instead of canned to skip ice cubes. Greek yogurt boosts protein. Honey can replace sugar substitute.
